Impreza wagon vs. forester

Hi all,

I'm going to be getting a used car, and I'm debating between the forester and impreza wagon.

From what I've read (and I could be wrong), the forester is a little bigger, has more cargo capacity, the same fuel economy rating, and the same towing capacity.

The only advantage the Impreza wagon has (and this is just my opinion), is that it looks better.

Am I missing something else? Does the impreza have other advantages that I'm not thinking of?

the impreza will handel a bit better due to it being a developemtn of the leggy.

but its horses for courses, personaly would have the scooby wagon,,,,,,,,, pmsl, ok thats cheating, i'd have the imprezam purely cos i don't need the extra space

I would have the wagon, but then I am a little biased as I have a wagon and wagons rule!

Depends what u need it for. If u after a family car id go for the forester, if your after somethin sporty then the wagon.

the wife has a JDM Forester turbo-S which we bought after originally lookig for a wagon for her...........far bigger, better spec and better value for money........

main disadvatage on the std Forester is that it sits around 3-4" higher and has high profile tyres so handles worse than wagon, however easily fixed, and with 240'ish bhp is not slow..................
