Was it you! (Waves or flashes from other scoobie drivers)
I think this is a great idea.
Last week I was in the North Devon area and got waves or flashes from other scoobie drivers in two days. I would love to be able to find out if any of them use this forum. |

Ha ha just remember ppl though not just enthusiasts view these pages-im always vague about where i live untill i really trust someone-think theres still only one person on here knows where i live to date, wouldnt recommend mentioning on here where your cars regularly parked etc etc as it aint just the enthusiasts that see it-remember anyone can join a car site.
also remember They`re worth more in parts !! (if ya lucky)If ya not being woke in the middle of the night we some dude we a guns not my idea of fun so recommend being vague! for more definate details use private messages-i know it dont happen often however it does happen!!! Im sure they dont just stumble upon these cars as the thieves are usually from miles away-Just dont give that sort of info out in a post to a stranger Who it looks like may own a scooby-after all i could copy and paste 6 pics say of someone elses car and say im a scooby owner almost anythings believable on a forum as you dont know the person, but generally i`d be more worried about who else could view it. I know to alot of ya it may seem overcautious however i guess it depends where ya from an which stolen threads on scoobynet youve read an about how its affected folks. |

I dont bother any more with this feature on any of the other forums.
Think I drive one of the growing number of "stealth" scoobies. Dont get me wrong, I wave or flash (my lights)(sensibly) at almost all scooby drivers and get a response back but you post it on a forum and no-one seems to reply any more. Either that or the dozens that live round my area just dont visit the forums |

I'm glad to see you've deciced to give this a try!
I do agree with ukdave that giving away to much info about yourself could lead to problems. However if we keep the messages short and brief about drivers we have acknowledged in moving vehicles and don't divulge any personal info it could be fun. I can play at the moment though as a Rover driver deciced to take out my rear end and somehow it's not the some in a courtesy Astra |
