Question speed limiter

Ok to those in the know this is probably going sound daft but do i have a speed limiter .
The car is a uk spec 2001 bug eye
i was on a echhmm private road and got 147 and was not at the red line so can i go faster or is there a factory speed limiter in place oh and can i get rid ?

ok sound thanks for the help ! new exaust on order will try again then would be nice feel she could reach 150 just the once
must admit much happer at lower speeds more fun in the twisties
.

yeah i've done 160mph in mine (on a gps system) and tbh not sure i'd wanna go that quick again, slight bends on wide private motorways seem like 90 degree bends

258bhp, 28flt in a uk classic, but for some reason its quicker than it should be, not sure y, its even got the place that looks after it for me stumped as to y pmsl

nice seems u luck out there have been told of car like that in the past just faster than they should be pretty rare though.
am looking forward to uping the bhp a bit car is totally standard at the mo
Must admit am little bit jealous of 258bhp

Yeh I had just short of 160 from my classic Those bends are very sharp on the motorway
