2005 STi servicing regime

What is it ? every 10k or every 12k ? I know it's probably in the search somewhere but I'm lazy

Might possibly come back to scooby ownership, have an option on a 2005 05 plate STi UK (June registered I think) with somewhere iro 20k on the clock in grey to replace my E46 M3. The BM dealer I use have taken it in p/ex at the weekend and they're looking into a deal for me to swap, given that M3's are currently depreciating faster than a falling brick and it's screwing up the lease deal I'm on. If it's not a goer then I'll be stuck with the beemer (no bad thing really)

My last scooby was 4 years ago, last of the line classic turbo which needed servicing every 7.5k, then I know it went to 10k with the bugeye, then 12k so I'm just wondering what the STi is now.

Cheers all

Mike

Yeah, always used to change the oil every 3-4k anyway, have access to workshops to do that either myself or for a token gesture to one of the chaps

Just want to make sure that *if* this deal comes off (should know later today) and this car's got 20k on it then I won't be needing to service it as I take delivery.

It'll certainly be cheaper to service / run than the M3 matey, as well as being a damn sight more reliable

Won't sound as nice though, not much beats that straight 6 scream at 8000 rpm

You'll have to come for a spin up the road before the old girl goes, I'll show you what a real (RWD) car is
