I was asked the other day bout the 2 vents on the bonnet what do they do? apart form look gud!!! I could not answer as there is a seal and plate that bolts on the botton so no air can get in, just a little hole for water to escape?? in the summer i do remove the bottom plate to get more air to the air filter..
Any ideas??? |

Thought it was some form of escape or inlet for air, just bafflin with the foam seal and metal plate bein there and non directional!!!.
I must admit it does run better with the plate removed in the summer, many ppl are puttin them little scoops on now which i think look silly but everyones taste is different.. + it looks smart when removed as u can see the induction kit and hear it suckin like a MF.. Thanks for replys gareth.. ![]() |
