Hawk or Blob eye?

I am looking to get a wrx, but am torn between the Hawk eye and Blob eye...

Just wanted to know a few things,

Firstly, I read somewhere the Hawk eye is a more quieter car, so does this mean that when I stick a ninja on there I wont get that trademark burble?

Also, I know the newchape imprezas come standard with xenons, and have seen some blob eye STIs with xenons too, but do the blob eye wrxs come with xenons?

Finally, which car is faster?

Cheers people

neither car is really faster than the other from standard - well not that we as normal drivers would ever notice... you would always get the sound your referrinf too unless you have equal headers on the car... the unequal headers give it that good old burble noise... the zaust would increase the noise for you (and power if complete system)

good luck with the looking -- there are some real bargains to be had at the minute.

Please do kee pus informed.

sorry what do u mean by equal headers?

Also, if I was to go for the blob eye one, i would take it to subaru to get the ppp...

what kind of difference would this make in terms of power gains etc...

What does it involve? is it just an exhaust system and chipped ecu?

most m8 yes some do come with the equal headers from import...

your ignorance is welcome here we will help all we can... if you put PPP on a car then it wil lcost around 2k and youd be looking at gains in the region of 40bhp... SO - if im honest youd be better off buying one with it installed as it dont make a great deal of difference in the resale price...

Its nearly 12k cheaper here. The reason I bought the WRX is so that I can put on better parts for a cheaper price and be a hell of a lot faster. Maybe he has the same idea?

The hawkeye also gets the 2.5 motor just like the blob eye STi. Upgrade the turbo and its on like donkey kong.
