Insurance - Greenlight

Just a warning to all you potential insurance buyers..

I had a quote (relativly good) from www.greenlightinsurance.com for me motor and accepted - Paid in FULL upfront no question. I had to change my policy to add business class 1 to it... Got a quote from greenlight insurance for the change and it went astronomical! So, went about the motions of getting a new quote from another provider and found a real good un with business class 1 (www.admiral.co.uk)

So, cancelled policy with greenlight BUT cannot get my 700 odd pounds back from them for 30+ days... Just been told that could be early december by darren on the phone... (was cencelled 23rd October)

Now i personally think this is taking the **** -- 700 odd pounds of my money for potentially over a month...

Is this standard practice?

If it was a few quid fair enough but over £700 they owe me and that sort of wait is seriously not good...

yeah mate, ring and have a moan, speak to the most senior person in the office and say its not acceptable to have to wit so long for a refund.
