The Good, The Bad & The Insurers!!

Once upon a time there was a man, 38yrs old, 14yrs NCB and a standard 2001 bugeye WRX. With a great joy he was able to get fully comp insurance for 486. However, this man was swayed by the darkside and began to consider low level 'mods' for his mota. Under increasing pressure the man added a few bits and bobs and went to his insurance company. Midway throught he Spanish Inquesition he replied, "unfortunately I will be unable to provide a full engineers report on the fitting of the mud flaps or the panel air filter" and ended their interorgation and looked elsewhere.

Bottom line then...
de-cat pipe and STi back box
Green panel filter
Pi Springs (lowered 30mm)
Forge VTA DV
Japanese WRX decals on the doors
de-Tangoed side repeaters and markers

Subaru Insured - unable to quote as mods not fitted by Subaru

Adrian Flux - estimated quote at no less than 1500 as not owned the car for 12 months

Keith Michaels - Gary Moulson did it again - 495 with every box ticked

Thought of an addition to my Signature below "... and most of them work for insurance companies..."

Well done
I spoke to Gary Moulson and he said it you be around 600. He could not better A-plan 549
Our postcodes effect things big time

500-600 seems about ball park and pretty damn good when ya think there some paying well into 4 figures. What I like about Keith Michaels was all mods are like for like if the worst happens. I was with Elephant for years with my other cars (slightly mod'd MG ZS180 prior to Scoob) but they'd have replaced with standard parts. I also have busness use in there too.

However, you're right about the postcodes. This is one time where living in a different time zone (or is that twilight zone) light years from civilisation pays off.
