since year 2000 reg plates look like this XX00XXX

so plates are FM51OHX, 51 is the year of regestration

2001 = 01/51 reg plates
2002 = 02/52 reg plates
2003 = 03/53 reg plates
2004 = 04/54 reg plates

etc etc
