Hi & congrats.

You will find the model code/bhp on the list below! If you don't know your model code its under the bonnet on the VIN plate.

I can confirm that it's 240BHP. Thats with high octane fuel. Mines a '96, no idea what year M reg would be.

Enjoy buddy! I've had mine 3 days and i am loving every second of driving it.

If its an RB5 I would assume there would be a plate telling you what number it is? I think they did that for the RB5's.... We need Triplezoney on here to tell us about his...

I'll take a look mate

UK m8 nov 1998 thought it was a my98 then scoobyworld said it was a my99 now according to searchin google etc wiv my engine no its a my00..
This is confusing me now.. With the GC8GK8D number on google its sayin its a AUZ car made by sti befor the RB5 came out i.e prototype something to do wiv the testing of the body?? If i remember when i brought the car it said something on model part of the log book but cant remeber wot, the new log book says impreza 2000 awd turbo..

Nope no sickers anywhere not even got air con brought as std uk car from dealer..
The car does seem to differ from std my98/99 normal turbos ive seen like vented rear disks, phase 2 engine, front bumber wiv the horried orange vents, blue gray interior.. and the turbo is VFI? or something like that not a tdo4 so scoobyworld told me..

Sounds mighty confusing for sure!!

Mate, I dont even know where to start.... Maybe get the VIN plate checked or check the V5 as it might give you some clues there...

I doubt very much the VIN plate has been changed for some reason... Could it? I really dont know what to suggest mate, I'm really fresh out of all ideas Not that I had any in the beginning!!

Anyone got any idea's at all here?? Could it be a mis print on the Vin? Surely not??
