Applied Model / Engine Type Help plz

I need some one to clarify the information I have on my Vin plate

My Scooby is a 95/96 4dr wrx (Jap) I hope that doesn's offend you
My Applied model is GC8C48D

So I understand thats the usual G=impreza - C=Sedan etc etc etc

ok I under stand that but where I get lost is my Engine type and Option Code are for the 95/96 WRX STi Version 2

which are Option Code = BJC

Engine Type = EJ20G DW5HE

Can some one put me straight on whats under my hood, I'm confused
or explain what it all means. thx so much

I got the info from the catherine and ken site under the which car heading.

Hi phil,

EJ20 = 1994cc & GDW5HE = Build type.

? with the Option Code could be optional extra code.
