Now I'm getting mine re-mapped and at least I'm having a sports cat put on the car. Now I'm getting it done through Zen Performance and the only cat they have any experience with is the Hayward and Scott model.
I was just wondering if anyone has heard, anything about the Ninja Sports cat and how it faired against others?
Advice please people!!

Oh apparently also, that Scooby World exhausts etc are also made by Hayward and Scott... So I'm told :?

easier at MOT time.

not that much of a pain though, and it will restrict the airflow/turbo so much with cats left on. keep origional for mot time or find a friendly garage

How often do you guys have emissions testing?

once a year mate, but can get stopped and tested by the road side, although don't know anyone who has as of yet

We have it every 2 years here. Im thinking about moving to Florida. No emissions at all.

They set up emissions traps on entry and exit ramps here. You drive through them and they can tell if your car passes or not.

I found a away to get around it. Just turn your car off when you go through it.

I prefer a sports cat mainly for the mot's and so on as there are few and far between good garages down here, but also because of the extra noise on the motorway. I'm told a full decat really does make a huge amount of noise and doesnt really add too much more power. But as I said, power isnt all that important to me, I just wanted a little extra with changing the exhaust over.

noise, yeah its a bit, get one with a bung and it won't be to bad, as far as power goes it saps alot, imagine putting cotton wool in your throat and thats the kinda thing.

I'm sure it will be better than it is at the moment. Besides, I couldnt just have it re-mapped with a cat back system!! I had to change something else!

It'll be more than enough for me. I'm not greedy at all
