Quite a few classic's about in the Bristol SW area. Driven by chav's I'm afraid.. Most the lads have moved up to newage so as not to get mixed up with the chav's.

alot of young lads buying dirt cheap early wrx imports and running them on shoestrings so there sheds, i think is whats happening, give it a while and alot will be smashed/crash/broken down and classics will start to get rid of that reputation.

don't get me wrong, nothing wrong with buying a ceaper one, (as long as your carefull and buy one in good nick) but y buy a car if you can't afford to run it?

Affraid its how I see it..A lot of my friends have good clean classics and a credit to them. But the price of the older cars are dropping to the price chav's will pay. The Chav's in my area have to keep up apearances if they want to sale there drugs so running round in an impreza is good for them. Problem arise when they haveproblems with there cars as they just go out and steal another classic remove the parts they want and dump or burn out the stolen car.

I always wave to scoob owners but find myself waving at undisirables lately..

Exactly the same around here, with the price getting quite low on the early classics... they are a great choice for the chavs! Just hope the good scooby reputation doesn't go down the pan!

To be honest its getting the same with evo`s anyway round here its inevitable really as they all become cheaper, dont bother me too much though, bothered about my car not everyone elses,up to them on the image they give and what they do with theirs,i aint a snob about owning a scooby theyre just a cheap performance 4wd 2.0(majority)turbo at the end of the day.
