Cool happy with rolling road result!

hi peeps just got back from having my car tuned

bad news is it is a 240 bhp model when i thought it was the 260 bhp
cause it has a steel intercooler instead of alloy and water apray
its a 1994 wrx import

good news is i have turbo back full de cat system and a apexi air filter and its pushing out 274 bhp with 247 lb of torque

the guy said its running strong cause the fueling was up at 9%
i asked about chipping but he said its not worth it cause id only get 1 psi more cause its running 15 psi now on its own so im happy

does this sound like a good power figure or is it normal for these mods?

nice one mate

mmm, if you remap you should be able to push the boost up more than that, but depends on the turbo, i think it'll either be a td04 or td05 (i think its td05 though) should be good for much higher than that if mapped right, my uk with td04 is running 1.4bar max peak (during winter i might add) more like 20 ish psi

369 torque? that sounds pretty impressive to me. 308bhp sounds about right. What other mods have you had done to it though

sounds pretty good then mate. the pilot has similar modifications on his. believe its running around the same power as yours.

if you want a cheap top mount try and get hold of a secondhand sti8 IC. should be able to get one for around £250 with the y piece that goes with it.
