Not really mate... Sooner rather have less models and a $3 gallon for petrol!! If you look up mate, you'll see what it is... Personally, not for me

I've drove them all and owned most of um... Voted for the Classic Impreza Facelift 98-20 over the P1/Type R as my MY98 with a little tuning would outrun the P1/Type R and after 40,000 miles it gave no trouble more than I can say for the P1/Type R which both went bang.
Vote 2 was the blob eye. seems this car has proved itself and is one of the most reliable scoobs ever. Did not vote for the 06 as its just not proven itself as yet. I also prefered the 2.0 to the 2.5.

One was missing: The Spec C.

Personally, I think the 06 Spec C tops the list.

Since it's now got aircon etc, you can use it as day-to-day car and it still has the advantages of a Spec C over the normal STi:
- FAR better torque spread
- lighter (120kgs)
- No girlie-smooth 2.5 but a good old and very tuneable 2.0
- Normal, nice black interior

Just trying to find out about them all, but I thought the Spec C was ther?

Dumbass question here also, why is the 2L version better for tuning than the 2.5L?

Here's the links for the cars:

Ive got 2 answers to this question-from my own selfish point of view i`d go for a classic facelift saloon for obvious reasons, sti type r for the complete car, being realistic hear very little about problems with 03 sti`s couple of mates have had them gave em death and are fine in fact i`d go so far as to saying even though im not really a fan of later scoobys i`d find it hard to argue the bad points of one of these based on me mates experiences with them.

I think the newer ones definitely have a better block to tune up compared to the Type R's etc..

I dont know what I'd do if the engine went in mine... I really wouldn't have a clue...
