When engine is rebuilt and missing on no3 and 4 its usually a sign the inlet and exhaust cams have been mixed up. It seems a common problem had two in the last two months...(Derek & Gavo)

found out today that they have sacked one off the tech's who has been working on my car.
the reason why the car was missing was that the left cam had turn and knocked the timing now the are saying that the car wont be ready till next tuesday as long as there no more problems the only reason why it will take so long that they have only got one fully qualified tech there now lol

Did think the problem was with the cams...should only be an hours work to put it right though... Make me wonder if the cam timing fault had damaged other parts of engine they are not saying about, which is why its taking so long. But as they have said there mechanic messed up I would not thing they are hiding anything.
