Tyres...

Now I know everyone says about the Toyo's so I found a few links to get an idea price wise (see below) but also, with my car, what speed rating would I need?

I have 215/35/18's at the moment....

http://www.mytyres.co.uk/start.html - These price them at 91.20 each including vat and postage.

http://www.blackcircles.com/public/order?view=standard - These price them at 103.25 each including vat and postage.

Anyone else got any ideas? These prices wherent with the .org's discount....

t1r's and t1's will both be good enough spec for it mate

mytyres was the cheapest of those two, 91.20, but you'll have to then get them fitted

Just wondering about the top speed rating? They are only rated to 168mph, I know I'll never go that fast, but shouldnt it be a bit higher?? I cant remember what speed rating I need

think there w which will be fine, bear in mind the rating is designed for continuose use at up to that speed so as long as you dont sit at it you'll be ok.

i doubt you'll ever hit more than 165 though to be honest, even on a private test track

pmsl phil your a star "Just wondering about the top speed rating? They are only rated to 168mph, I know I'll never go that fast, but shouldnt it be a bit higher??"

right phil when are you gonna travel at a continual 168mph

a) Name me a road with enough room round you(remember thats continuous speed)

b)before you got caught lol

c)before you run out of fuel

Trust me tyres rated up to that speed will be fine.
