Optimax-staying or on the way out ???

Read somewhere yesterday on scoobynet that shell are finishing doin optimax to make way for something called v-max 100 ron anyone know if theres any truth in this????Thread on sn is here http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthread.php?t=520567

yeah, heard its just gonna be available in certain place and additional to optimax though, not sure when its due to come in though, if at all

V-Max is the european equivalent of Optimax at 100 octane.

Sainsburys Super does me fine, for the extra cost, hassle of me finding a Shell garage, they can keep any fuel they do!! I just simply wouldnt pay it

I know mate and its about 10p/litre cheaper as well.. I couldnt believe it when the lady told me that!!

Oh well, I've always used it, never had any problems that I know of

I personally try not to pay anything over a £1 a litre, let alone £2.50!!
