Very nice Bob mate!!! Lets hope it lives up to your expectations!!! The Type R is a hard car to live up to and I know one Scoobycity member who hated his WR1 so much, he sold and went else where (Audi I think).
He also went from a Type R to the WR1!!! ![]() |

The Type R with the set-up I had is a great motor. Would be an excellant trackday car. But lets face it I'm no spring chicken and need something I can relax in and not have my bones bounced around...I want to stay with the scoobs as have tons of friends who I have meet through forums like this. I just love the scoob meets and go to as many as I can. So if it has to be a scoob and a little softer the WR1 fits the bill..
Getting use to the WR1 now and find it does go quite well but has to be pushed to make it go. You know down the box and rev it a little. Been getting lazy with the Type R which just burst into performance in any gear and any rev's.. Still its time for me to slow down...When I say slow down its just a little slower I will still be out front on those Exmoor runs... ![]() |

Nah good on ya Bob, the WR1 is an excellent car. Isn't it funny how these forums have an effect on the car you buy? All the cars I could have bought for the money and I bought a 22B, just so I could stay with the crowds of Subaru enthusiats I have got to know. If it hadn't of been for the 22B TBH I would have left Subaru ownership.
