Basic Impreza info needed
I'm new to Subaru's I don't even have one yet.
I'm after any basic make and model information, eg: What MK's year ranges are, Power figures, things to look out for when buying, the difference in mports and UK spec's etc. I was hoping to find a load of sticky threads but haven't. I'm currently interested in a V reg, Impreza. I know its not an STI or WRX, its just says 2000 Turbo AWD. What Mk is this, and whats the standard power figures? Any help much apprieciated. |

Thanks. I read about it being a Richard Burns LE.
I've read through all of the links you supplied. The last one doesn't apply as the vehicle I'm currently looking at it damaged any way. I still haven't found any thing about the MK's. Going on my limtied knowlege, I'm guessing the v reg, which is the same shape as the RB5, is a MKII. Is that correct. You say the n/a's are called a sport, Is the 2000 Turbo AWD called any other name? I've seen GLX mentioned a few times. |

A V reg will either be a MY99 spec (version5) or a MY00 (version 6, mine is a version 6 on a V plate) according to when it was regestered. Classic, version 1 - MY94 (known as pre-facelift) Classic, version 2 - MY95 (pre-facelift) Classic, version 3 - MY96 (preface-lift) Classic, version 4 - MY97 (some are facelift, some not) Classic, version 5 - MY98- MY99 (Face lift) Classic, version 6 - MY00- MY01 (face lift) Bug eye, - MY01- MY02 Blob eye, - MY03- MY05 Hawk eye, - M06 (current model) HTH
