Just been to the Post Office to get 6months tax...

my form said 90.75 but when she scanned it in it showed 104 !!!

it appears that if i'd have gone yesterday before the budget i'd have been ok ..

Bummer ........

Tax on anything 'petrol heavy' or that throws out a lot of crap (exhaust that is) is expensive now, £210 a year I believe. Its not right but this is the way this country is going...

There where 2 cars that didnt have to pay tax on... The honda Insight (which there's only 200 cars in the UK in the first place) and another one thats not even Imported into the country... Great isnt it!?

The budget... Another way to screw the motorist right up... Not happy

Strange isn't it, if that had happened in a shop, you'd have paid the price as marked, seems the government have us by the short and curly ones.

Lads to be honest you havent got it that bad, i am currently paying 482 euro a year to tax a 1.8, pushes to just over 500 for a 2L and our roads in Ireland are still crap
