When the car's big ends went I priced up a few differant types of convertion and engine replacement. Then thought about scrapping the car. I decided to get the 2.5 done but with the low ratio gearbox of the Type R would also have to do the gearbox and diffs. Turbo injectors and ECU would also have to be on the list. So ended up spending £13,000 on a car worth about the same, but already had £10,000 worth of mods done to it. So car ended up costing me about £40,000. Will be selling it soon and will only get about £14,000 for it so will take a big loss on this one.... Tons of differant turbo's for these cars The TD05/6's go 16, 18, 20, then are mishmashed with other parts to go bigger. But you must be carefull to large a turgo give just to much lag. Best check the spool time before desiding... See http://www.andyforrestperformance.co.uk/16307.html for a good range of turbo's |
