You only need to drill one hole and it's in the plastic wheelarch liner. Nothing dramatic thus.

I found taking the sills off the car was a good thing. Not only because it made mounting the mudflaps easier, also because you can finally clean out the 3 tons of mud that tend to collect inthere over time

These are the ones I fitted. Approx 200,-GBP from Subaru dealer (ask for a discount !). 4mm thick, perfect fit and good quality. They've already taken a serious battering (winters are quite harsh here) and seem perfectly up to the job.

I noticed Scott Lowe is now doing carbon fiber mudflaps. Really look

Does anyone have them or is anyone considering them ?
