Glad to be join da crew - Need help with Alarm! any help would be great!

  • Hi All,

Iím a newbie here, so Iím just say hello to all ya kick ass scooby fan out ders.
I love my scoobies, my first was a 2000 Subaru liberty but I have recently upgraded to a 2004 STI as of 3 weeks ago.

I bought it modified with a custom front mounted intercooler, intake and exhaust. I plan on adding a electronic boost controller and so gauges so I probably need ya expert advice on what best ta use..

I do have a problem which I hope any of ya experts out there can help me with.

When I bought my car it didn't come with a Alarm operator manual. The only thing I know about the alarm is that itís a Subaru Ultima series alarm.

I want to change the PIN code for my keypad so I was hoping if anyone know how to do that. I assume it is the Aussie (Australia) release alarm so it slight different the instructions Ive seen for the Euro release on this forum..

Can anyone help cos the local Subaru dealer here wants $75 buck to change a damn pin numberÖwat a wack..and they won't even give my a copy of the manual with that $75 bucks, how rudy pooh is tat!

Any help would be great all
And hi to all the Perth Australian locals out ders !

Its okie Brudda

Hi Pete,

Appreciate all ya efforts, hopefully there are fellow Aussie REXy owners out there who have a copy of the Alarm users manual to share with me, all I need is the method to re-program the PIN. As unfortunately every man and his dog would have the PIn to my rex as its beeing in alot of workshops having work done from the previous owner.

But if worse comes to wear and we can find one I'll just have to pay the Ripperoff-Roo deal to reprogram the PIN for a, WAIT FOR IT $75 BUCKS FOR CHANGING A DAMN PIN ...HAHAH

well i guess they have to make money somehow, by the way they said my new car warraNTY was void too, cos of my mods..
