If I was going to choose another car (instead of spending it elsewhere) it would definitely be the '06. However, it would then be a choice of the Impreza STi or the Forester STi - not sure which I'd go for to be honest.

Well I know someone who took a new STI out for a run today....
All I can say is I was not impressed with the 2.5 power think I would rather have the 2.0ltr. Its not the look out were off you get from the 2.0 but a gradual build up. The power is there but it just does not seem faster than the 2.0
Now thats coming from someone who owns a 2.5.

Wonder what they have done at Subaru? The power of the 2.5 is 280PS yet the 2.5 engine running catless gives 350/350 on all the 2.5's done at Scoobyclinic..Seems Subaru have strangled the thing.
Still more money for the tuners as the owners gradually learn the 2.5 is good for 350/350 with little mods and running 1.0 bar of boost. BTW mine is running 1.25 bar...

Hi
The new look of the scooby has grown on me But it might be worth a test drive at your local Scooby dealer.
Moving house on Friday, no new scoobyfor me and no B'Band for a while

I do like the new digital clocks in the 2.5 all flashing lights as the dash lights up. 8)

No more throttle cable problems as its now fly by wire.. 8)

Looks like a very small turbo though... Should be ok for lowdown power although it did not feel like it.

They also have started recircing exhaust gasses when engine is cold, think it just warms up quicker but should also help with emissions.

Not sure if I like the top spoiler but expect it will grow on me

Top spoiler is an odd one really - unsure about that myself. how much benefit would that provide?

Wonder if the spoiler flaps around in the wind like previous models
