new to subaru

had a fall out with the guy i bought my car off as he (couldnt be bothered to find the history for my car after i paid for it
with a bit of luck a m8 new the sti and gave me a number of the guy who has worked on it since its been in the uk .he has all the details of what has been done
just rang him and he,s gonna print out every thing
he gave me some details of spec (at last im getting somewhere )
skeleton fly wheel
closed deck block
steel head caskets
1.4-1.9 max boost ran at 2.2 but blow engine hence new block
420 bhp at flywheel
h patten steel rods
vf 34 turbo
organic clutch
hks management ecu from abbey motors
1 prob left he also told me it wont pass a mot .even with a cat he said it will need to be remapped ?
do this sound right or over the top ?
he is well nown down this end with setting up subaru,s

Wow that is a serious bit of kit if that is correct.....

Find a sympathetic MOT station if possible rather than get it remapped and catted...

this is what im told from the guy who built the engine and he,s got all the paper work .
he did say more but i couldnt keep up with him on writeing it down but hopefully i can pick it up next week when he,s scanned and printed it all off .lucky for me he saved it all

I think sympathetic is the wrong word. Stupid is more like it. Many of the MOT stations are shitting themselves at the minute and are beginning to abide by the rules of the book because of the computerised system.
