2litre sport to turbo ?

has anyone converted a scooby 2L sport to a turbo. I expected a lot more than what i got when i bought my 2L sport v 1999. any tips on how to gain maximum bhp and torque without turboing the engine.

From past conversation i think this is more trouble than the worth of it. Its a BIG job and a costly job. :arrow:

Did you attempt to buy turbo model?

The method of extracting the most from your engine is the same as with any engine.

More air, more fuel, more advance (well sort of)

increased airflow
Improved intake system, port and polished heads, aftermarket (or modified) exhuast system (exhaust manifold included).

More Fuel
Remap, larger injector (to fool the fuel)

More ignition advance

Welcome to the site mate...

My honest advice would be to sell it and buy a turbo mate, that's the cheapest way around it as Turboing a 2L Sport is a BIG job!!! :wink:

Or as Jon said above if you want to keep it...

Any reason why you bought the 2L???
