air intake

im thinking about getting one of those funny air filters instead of the standard one.
How do i go about it anyone got any good links?

It will depend on which one you get. Some sit with the cone in the engine compartment others with the cone in the inner wing.

What you do need to do is make sure that you get one with a good filter and it is supported well so as not to vibrate. i.e. needs a bracket to the wing for support. Excess vibration can add to cause of MAF failure.

Fitting should be straight forward. Be careful when handling the MAF as this is prone to failure.

Some also run a cold air duct towards the cone....

It is easy - really easy! Probably one of the most easy jobs you can do (almost).
