if you were after a quieter one that still had a large tailpipe you`d have been better with the ninja but to be honest if youre only changing the backbox and youre cats are still in i dont think it`d be too bad anyway, though if you were after a quieter one and not bothered about tailpipe size magnex/prodrive/powerengineering/haywood and scotts own(not ninja or afterburner)and others are all quieter, would say generally afterburner/nur spec and tsl`s firestorm are amongst the loudest.

eric, to answer the second part of your question, i paid an extra 40 sheets by declaring my ninja back box (A-Plan insurance). when enquiring this with other companies some asked if it improved power by over 20%, answering 'no' meant no price increase.
hope this helps.

Sorry for my stupid question :? but when I hear 'afterburner', I think of an airplane.

What is an afterburner for a scooby and how does it work ? Nothing to do with the antilag in the exhaust manifold I understand.

TX !

I think it is an exhaust mate. The name makes it sounds better than it is!!

:?

OK, so no little pipe leading the vapours from the fueltank to the back box for some :explode: fun ? Hmmm... dissappointing.

I'd be very useful to burn the hair off the legs of the pedestrians sneaking up the back of your car though ! Or melt an extra hole in the bumper of the Evo behind you ! :P

Hayward and Scott is what you want. As was supplied by Scoobysport to many an owner before it's demise and subsequent rebirth....
