idle control valve

hi i need to give my idle control valve a good cleaning this week but i cant get hold of a gasket at short enough notice (i live in france ) was wondering if its the sort of gasket that can be replaced with silicone gasket? otherwise im going to have to keep driving her idling like a dog thanks

Dealer or Import car parts would be my starting places.

yeah my nearest dealer is 150 miles away and there are no imports companies here!

you think 150 miles stops people sending things thru the mail ?
I know import car parts in the UK also send goods over seas, you arent on the space station. . .

yes i know i could have one sent, ive already found them in england but as soon as things cross the channel and the french become involved nothing turns up for 2 weeks, pretend i didnt ask! was just a simple question to know if i could use silicon gasket
