Doesnt sound like a too bad a deal

I'm paying 1900 with 7 years no claims bonus, with minimal mod's (I cant say everything ) but then I'm told that the Type R's are quite a bit more expensive to insure than most Just my luck eh?!

Try calling A-Plan - quote that you were recommended by 'Scooby Magazine'

01635 874 646

I'm not on commission.

A-Plan look at every single quote individually. It not a matter of - 'computer says no!' They do a great deal on second car insurance too.

A friend of mine just got insured through them:-
36, first Subaru, 93 WRX Import with mods to about 280bhp, Alarmed, 0% no claims. - 400 Fully Comp.

They may be getting my custom next month!

Had a 659 fully comp quote for our 2003 STi, 30 and 29 and 5 years NCB. (Direct Line)

Downside was that those tw@ts only allow you to go abroad 7 times per year and all together for a maximum of 28 days... :nightmare

(I still wonder how the Uk insurance companies manage to get away with rules that refrain people of going abroad... With free movement of people in the EU, it should be illegal and secondly, I don't know of any other country in Europe where insurance policies say "you can't go outside the country more than x many times or x days"...)
