I was wondering weather some fo you guys know what sort of sized speakers are in teh front doors of the 96 impreza. i didnt want to open up the covering just yet, because they are attached with clips, and i wouldnt want to mess it all up, and have a angry mother. LOL

By what i could see, i think they are 6's.

all i need to know is weather they are 6's or 6x9's. Im going to purchase some speakers 2morrow, and need to know what size to get.

sweet!! thanks heaps guys. Btw, since you gusy may be interested in what im getting. Im looking into a pair of blaupunkt 6's. Ive found a good price on them. not sure what model it is, but its similar to this. http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B0...CMZZZZZZZ_.jpg

but yeah, i cant wait to get them installed and pumping!!!

I've gone with Pioneer speakers front and back.. Although I've had to 'boge' the rear's as my brother in law thought 6x9's would fit ok :roll: :roll:

It's amazing what a bit of MDF can manage

Still considering a sub of some sorts tho...

ahh guys, sad news....

by teh time i got to teh store, on the first day of teh sale, all the blaupunkt dvd screens, in dash dvd player, mp3/cd/dvd head units all gone!!! i managed to grab a pair of velocity made by blaupunkt 6's. but they arent installed yet. Im waiting for a mate from another state to come and install ot for me, when he comes over my place for a few weeks stay.

As for currently now, the subi only has front door speakers. But when the car becomes in my posession, ill be looking forward to investing a good 5-8 k of sound equipement into it, and leave it as a sleeper.
