engine light from stalling question
so i was on a hill and the e brake wouldnt hold the car up so i put it in reverse so it would hold it up (thats what my brother taught me to do) but when i did that and let out the clutch to shut the car off, it stalled out and made the check engine light go on. now i realize i should have waited for the turbo timer to stop and shut the car off before releasing the clutch. but any ideas what could have caused the check engine light?
i have a 30 day warranty on anything inspectable and just want some more info before talking to the dealer in case they try to bs me. is a 2002 wrx with 104k miles, only mods i know of is perrrin headers, turbo timer, and the full exhaust |
Re: engine light from stalling question
get a code reader and see what the light is for.
