HELP A NEWBIE OUT PLEASE!!

Hello,
I am new to the forum as I have just bought my first Subaru the other day.
I just got a 2002 Subaru wrx impreza.

I bought the car for cheap knowing it had some problems it is throwing 5 Chech engine codes

The codes being thrown are:
-- Speed sensor
-- Idol Speed Control 1 and 2
-- O2 sensors 1 and 2

Also the car was throwing another before saying it was too lean which went away after I fixed the BOV....The previous owner installed a after market Peice of poop BOV, Not only that put it in upside down so that the vacum line was hiting the Intake manifold. The vacum line was broke, but I did flip it and fix the line, but the crappy BOV is leaking pressure

My question is would the BOV leaking pressure cause all of these codes to be thrown or is it possible that all these sensor are bad or possibly a electrical problem some where along the lines

Also this isnt my main problem at the moment but the cooling fan keeps running as soon as the ignition is turned on, even when the car has not been run and is not hot what so ever, BUTTTT the fans stop running once the car is actually started. OH and the ac is not on nor is the inside fan on just to clarify

Please HELP I know this is alot to digest, but any response will be greatly appreciated

Re: HELP A NEWBIE OUT PLEASE!!

I have ordered a new BOV a turbosmart kompact plum back BOV and just ordered two new o2 sensors... just saying if your looking for o2 sensors for a fair price amazon has them wayyy cheaper than anywhere else, but I have yet to receive them just ordered them today along with a new a/c tensioner pulley. I am still not sure why the fans run on cold start when ignition is engaged, but its not too big of a deal i suppose as the fans turn on when needed so I guess I will not worry with it for now. I will update when and if I figure the problems out... and if any body has any further input its always welcomed and appreciated. Thanks

Re: HELP A NEWBIE OUT PLEASE!!

there are places much better then amazon that sell genuine sensors, and why are you fitting a chav valve to a car that needs a standard one really so you can fault find.

Whats a CHAV VALVE ??? and fault find...? noooo sir I am putting a aftermarket nice BOV on due to the fact that the previous owner had a shitty ebay one that leaked mad pressure. Also ok no means of being argumentative but what place on the internet or hell in person even that you know of who sell the front oxygen sensor for 115 or less ? or the rear for 54 ? just saying man and they are exactly oem spec they are denso's

Re: HELP A NEWBIE OUT PLEASE!!

front it 72 quid + 4 quid P&P for a denso so Id say that`s a saving,
But as your a expert I now know to avoid your threads as I wouldnt want to offend or help in anyway.

Re: HELP A NEWBIE OUT PLEASE!!

wasnt tryna be snarky man but alright sorry man and still im not trying to argue with you man or nothing, but 72 quid i have found to be 108 dollars so really there's not much of a difference, but your right i guess you did find them cheaper I apologize ? what country are you from ???....

anyway an update.. I found a set of green plugs connected in under the coin tray area which I have read on another forum to be a flash ecm or engine checking code which were causing more problems than were actually there.. like the fans to be on during ignition being on and the car is only throwing a CEL for o2 sensor now, but I have found that the car is not boosting at ALL the turbo is not spooling, BUTTTT there is a weird clanging around the turbo area. So my thought is turbo is maybe blown up or it has sucked in a piece of the front cat which I have read is kind of common to happen on this car
