strange noise after gasket replacement

I recently had my valve cover (rocker cover) gasket and spark plug tube seals replaced in my 07 Impreza, however ever since then I have a faint whistling / wind sound from the engine bay. This only happens at speed whilst travelling, never whilst standing still nor even when revving whilst standing still.
I have taken it back and they said the idler pulley needs replacing, however from what I have heard I don't think this is the idler pulley. Can anyone shed some light on what it could be.

Its only faint at the moment.

Re: strange noise after gasket replacement

whistles are airflow related normaly, so not sure why a belt would cause that?
