rear spoilers

hi guys, been a while since i posted; since recently deciding to keep my 04 wrx after 5 years, instead of 'growing up' and buying a diesel mondeo (lol!), i want to freshen her up a bit...i have treated her to new wheels, lowering springs being fitted next week, and now want to change the std wrx rear spoiler...as you guys know, e-bay is stuffed with various aftermarket grp/frp/carbon etc etc as well as oem sti ones...just wondered if any of these non-std ones are any good or do they fit/crack/sag etc...would i be better spending the 300 most sellers want for s/h genuine ones?
cheers in advance guys......

Re: rear spoilers

Hi Billy, sorry can't comment on aftermarket. If you go for a s/h genuine STi you will need a drill. "Or buy a 03-05 STi boot lid with the spoiler"

Re: rear spoilers

hi pete, long time no speak m8!!
many thanks for that info, i actually thought the sti one attached using my existing wrx mounting holes, so thanks for that.............300 seems to be the going rate for s/h genuine ones, is that not a wee bit steep or have many other members paid that amount for them?
cheers m8
