Done a little research need more help

ok i went to a subaru specialist today just to ask about turbo installation, he said I'd be better off doing this for the mean time.

Ngk platinum spark plugs , get some ignition leads like hi core ones like a 8-10mm , get new cams pistons crank shaft. short shifter and a tune,

(because i was just going to do it so my car still registerd as a non turbo I'm on my p's still) otherwise i'd go get a wrx,

anyway, doing all this is fairly cheap compared to what i was going to pay, I'm just after 0-100km/h speed would these modifactions help me?

you might aswell just fit NOS, you will get the boost you want and not waste much cash, then once you can afford the wrx just sell the kit,
and you still have your savings to mod the wrx,
NOS is very safe and is a cracking mod,

Ive been using NOS on cars for over 10 years now and only had 1 failure which was forced to see what would happen with 150 bhp jets in a small car.

nos is incredibly illegal especially for a p plater, i know it can be great if you know what your doing, but i've only dealt with it once in a commodore. police pulled me and my mate up he lost his license for 3 years, with a 2k fine,

as your still a "young" driver,NOS is illegal,Turbo will kill you on insurance,it's all very well doing engine mods, but you need to think about handling, stopping and reduce the weight..

get the supension sorted 1st..(shocks,springs,bushes,arb,droplinks,braces etc)

then add into the mix, some decent rubber..

upgrade your stoppers(fast road pads/dics)

remove anything not needed or used much..ie :- aircon, spare wheel, rear seats, maybe even fit light weight trunk, hood etc..

then see how well it performs..

basic engine mods to gain a little more power, breath it:- high flow air filter,headers,sport/de cat, free or high flow centre section, rear silencer(not too feking big tail pipe )

then if more needed,cams,port/polish heads, bigger injectors, rehone the block to a bigger cc,pully wheels, plugs, leads, inlet manifold..the list can go on...

basics 1st and see how it goes

Re: Done a little research need more help

thanks for your reply "the pilot"
I've now done all the suspension, i got adjustable coil over shockies, front and rear sway bars,

also i have upgraded the break pads and I'm now looking at discs,

i took out the spare, and I've bought an allow bonnet w/scoop havn't attatched it yet need to get it painted,

I'm not allowed to decat in aus because of emision laws, but i have fitted a 200cel cat, along with a headers all through to tail pipe, it's just a 2inch system, so not so loud, i think i should of gone 2.25 maybe even 2.5inch but i can always change that later down, also done air intake.

i only want to do put about 1.5k more into it, which of these would be the most effective?

I've also got a dyno tune set up for once i have a few more mods,
