Unleaded to Shell V Power

Hi guys this is my first post so be kind.. ive had my 52 sti for a year now and used unleaded petrol from buying it, i know i should really have been putting in v power but with the price of petrol couldn't afford it. Anyway i'm now wanting to use the v power but abit weary of the sudden change for the engine. Any help and advise will be much appreciated. cheers Gav.

Odd as it sounds you might even get a better return on V-Power in terms of miles (depends how u drive)

Re: Unleaded to Shell V Power

I have always used sainsburys super at 97Ron with no problems and cheaper than V-Power. But the car is standard.

Re: Unleaded to Shell V Power

Itís pointless putting normal unleaded and get worse performance and poor mileage. Am surprised you didnít notice the difference straight away itís like feeding on chicken every day and one day you decide to get the same out of lattice it wonít work.
It doesnít look like you put your foot down much You should be lucky you didnít detonate the engine i would pull in to the shell station and drop some v power in it you will get the real deal out of the car.
