WEIGHT OF A EJ20 TURBO

IHAVE BOUGHT A ENGINE AND NEED IT TRANSPORTED BUT NEED TO KNOW A ROUGH WEIGHT OF A COMPLETE ENGINE ANYONE HAVE A IDEA IT IS OUT OF A 98 WRX CHEERS

At a guess 300kg-400kg just engine with no box attached say you could add 70-100kg with the box attached to it but dont quote me on it cant see it being any more than that

Recently had the engine out of my 2l turbo not sure of exact weight but 2 of us lifted it into the back of a focus and transported it in it.

If they are 400 Kg`s then Im "he man" as I can lift one on my own, classic lump inc heads no headers,
they are actually a easy engine to lift and move compared to a lot of car engines,
the VAG lumps seem huge and Im certainly not going to try.

Must have ate your weetabix that day thought they be heavier hope I never have to take mine out

job done for now engine is delivered of us each side of pallet just lifted in to the back of a small van. id say it was no more than 200kg inc pallet rad alternator etc
