Going Mafless

Hi i have a 94 import and im looking at going mafless, what do i need to buy, currently running a chipped Z4 so immediatly me thinks simtek or the likes? Silcon hose from filter, but is there anything else i need to consider? Regs Gareth

Simtek is probably the most cost effective option. Ecutek doesn't support Mafless (afaik). There may be other, cheaper options by going for an open source map but I'm not up on what's available in that area.

open source mapping uses the standard ecu

Simtek is the way, best bang for bucks.

depends on budget and long term plans.

If you plan to go big power later on then syvecs is best ecu on the market, but you pay for it, simtek is the cheaper option and fine for normal road use and odd track day.

dont bother with antilag and launch control, there a cost option on the simtek (comes within the cost of syvecs) but just not worth it.
