Clutch slipping

I have a 94 wrx import and for the past week wen car get warm and I give it some the clutch starts to slip, engine revvein and not going any where.

Rang up my usual parts place and they want 190 for new clutch but they where telling me as it is a import there is a difference to the uk spec cars.

Can any1 confirm this and tell me wat the difference is.

Also to change clucth how hard is it todo on a subs

Re: Clutch slipping

Clutch changing is a big job, it involves removing the exhaust, propshaft, front drive shafts, intercooler and various other bits. Scoobyworld changed mine for me in a day and it cost 650 for a stage 1 fitted. Not a bad price imo.
