Hi guys, I just want some advice really. I currently have 17" wheels on my classic at the moment. Would it be beneficial to invest in some lightweight 16" wheels as I'm going for a lightweight car, or sticking with 17's or even increasing to 18" for better handling? Any help would be appreciated :-) regs Gareth

Re: wheels

apparently 16's are the best for handling, 17's are fine but I wouldn't go for 18's...imo !

Re: wheels

big wheels can improve grip but sometimes negatively affect the handling. On my previous vtec cicivc I took the 17's off and replaced them with speedline motorsport rims and toyo t-1 r . Handled far better as it was less figidity over mid corner bumps.
Ive 18's on my scoob for looks but think the same as I mentioned above about mid corner bumps

Re: wheels

Subaru recommend the tyre size of 205/45/17/88w for the 17" rims
