I do miss mine quite a lot also. No other way to get to see anyone but the bus and there's now way in hell I'd try that!! Just looking forward till the 2nd August as its my birthday but its also when one of my best mates gets back from Afganistan as well! we are meant to be having a big gathering and a few drinks at his on the Saturday that my car is meant to be coming down to stay with me I really cant wait mate ![]() Where do you think, would we be able to orignise a meet somewhere? On a Motorway services or something? What you reckon bob? |

The 5th Rallyday takes place at Castle Combe Circuit in Wiltshire on Saturday 13 August.
This is what we can expect on the day Gigi Galli to debut Mitsubishi Lancer WRC05 Mitsubishi have confirmed that Gigi Galli from the Mitsubishi Motor Sports World Rally Team will be flying over from Italy to give the latest Mitsubishi Lancer WRC05 its first UK live action debut in front of an estimated 10,000 Rallyday fans. Mitsubishi have given strong support for the event since it began in 2001 and this year promises to be a terrific spectacle for the marque David Llewellin and Phil Short to support Audi quattro Celebrations Rallyday 2005 celebrates 25 years of the Audi quattro, with 5 ex-factory rally cars in the feature stage and 95 quattro turbo road cars in attendance, there will definitely be a quattro dominance at this years event. David LLewellin and Phil Short will make special guest appearances at the show to help mark this very special occasion. Bjorn Waldegard confirms attendance We are delighted to announce that former World Rally Champion Bjorn Waldegard will be one of the star drivers at Rallyday 2005. Bjorn, voted best rally driver of all time by Rally XS magazine, will drive 2 original works rally cars throgh the feature rally stage. Precision Driving Demonstrations Russ Swift and Paul Swift will perform a precision driving routine including spectacular parallel parking, j turns and doughnuts much to the delight of the spectators. Details of their routine for 2005 will be released closer to the event. Slowly Sideways A large group of enthusiasts from Slowly Sideways, the organization formed by Rally Photographic ace Reinhardt Klein, have promised their biggest display ever with a full compliment of some of the worlds most iconic ex-works rally cars. As well as having a major display in the paddock this year, they can all be seen in action on the Feature Rally Stage at lunchtime. Rally Car Rides Andy Gwynne, Former National Super 1600 Champion, will be running rally car rides as part of his Gwynnespeed rally school. Andy is an exceptionally talented rally driver and along with his co-driver Holly Robinson, they are notorious for humbling far more expensive machinery Rallycross For the first time, Rallyday will host a dedicated feature of Rallycross cars from the all new Rallycross Super Series. Whilst there have been a couple of Rallycross cars at the event before, including the spectacular XTrac Escort pictured, this year will be the first time we have had a large display both in the paddock and on track as part of the days action Rally Raid Following the positive response from spectators and Rally Raid teams, Rallyday is delighted to welcome the return of several competitors who have competed in the Dakar. Make sure you take time to have a good look at these vehicles as they are truly awesome. RS200 In addition to the quattro anniversary celebrations, 2005 is also the 20th birthday of the incredible Group B Ford RS200. To commemorate this big milestone there will be numerous RS200 examples at the show including 2 original ex-works vehicles which will be driven on the feature stage. Colin and Alister to star at Rallyday The Organisers are delighted to announce that both Colin and Alister McRae will star at Rallyday 2005. Spectators will get a unique chance to see the famous McRae brothers entertaining the crowds on track together in their Ford Escort MK II Rally cars. |

Had a great time last year. Most the car clubs and forums go surprised I have not heard anything on this site about it.
After tons of rally cars had took to the track doing dougnuts and drifts. Suddenly a helecopter landed in the middle of the track out jumped Alister McRae and then he jumped into his latest rally car giving the spectators an hour of his best driving. |

Its only about a tenner. You get all day watching all the differant rally cars perform. You also get to walk around the cars looking at the mods that are fitted while chatting to the top rally drivers. Lots of stalls good place for food as well as burger vans. You can also take your car on track for a little extra but I tend not to on busy days like these. A few of the lads from Scoobyzone will go on track though.
