rev limeter

hi all i have a 95 wrx and need to no how to take the rev limiter of can u help

you can't,simple.

will need to get an aftermarket ECU and will then be able to raise the rev limit but not remove it,it's there for a reason..

what is the limiter set at 4500 rpm ?

rev limit can be changed in the map, however without changing the cams etc theres no point becuase the power is dropping off at the existing rev limit anyway.

the mentioned 4.5k is the limp mode rev cut, if its kicked in somethigns wrong and the car will need looking at.

hi if you are actually hitting the rev limiter at 6k+ on a regular basis I would be saving for a new engine, these engines achieve peak power before the rev limiter so your really just abusing it for no real gains imho.
