Had an Ecutek 2 remap done at Power engineering Uxbridge on my 01 WRX which would have started of at about 215 bhp (yours will have the later OE ecu and 225 bhp) - have K & N panel filter prodrive back box (not decatted etc yet) and saw 265 bhp @ 6400 and 247lbs - have fitted Forge recirculating dump valve and PFR7's cooler plugs after - saving up for a bigger intercooler and exhaust/downpipe/ up pipe and would hope for 280 - 290 ish? :1:

I have and its very interesting - partially the reason i'm delaying the exhaust (apart from the lack of foldy stuff!!!) As they say over 300bhp we've got to change up from the TD04 turbo and injectors/fuel pump etc so I will watch that one carefully. Perhaps more than just the horsepower its the drivability which is so improved. Good luck and let us know how you get on. :1:

Nice one 268 bhp and yes this heat is a killer - you get so much heat soak - when I ran it first on the Dyno at Power Engineering I saw 270 and then 265 bhp not five minutes later. Need a bigger intercooler - have seen one of the GT spec splitters in stainless - I'll try that first and see as its a bit cheaper than a new intercooler (APS one looks good) - again congrats on the extra power m8!!!!!! :2: Hav you done any other modifications yet??

was reading in Jap performance today that 2006 Jap model has 2.5L engine, but we probably wont see it in the uk. BHP is supposed to be the same as the STi now, although it has bags more torque. JP have got a write up of their test drive in next months issue. So looking forward to that
