I would like to say something about EBC pads and discs.. In my experience, I have had bad things happen with them and I'm sad to say, I wouldnt recommend them to anyone! The gent I spoke to, said he wouldnt even put them on a pram!! They warped and they wherent that good.
I had Black Diamond discs and I cant remember the pads exactly, but they where so much better ![]() |

OEM pads aren't that bad, but I wouldn't go on track with them. |

I know my Dad drove my Rover Coupe Turbo hard, but he messed up my disc's so many times, I had to get new ones. I really wasnt happy about it either, cos he'd already cost me far to much by wearing out tyres, exhaust and the standard brakes as well. He wasnt in my good books

Thanks for your advise guys, i think ill just go for oem brakes,
I dont need to stop in a hurry! just the pads i have asre real really low, asn i dont want to warp my discs. Ill phone camsport in the morn, I went to the website, I didnt know they where in aber, its only 20 mins from where i live in Wrexham, NICE ONE GUYS! one last question! is it a relitively hard part to change on a subaru? i changed them on my astra GTE once, they where seized, and took the whole da to bodge the job. Wrong way round ebc discs are far better than black diamond discs,Black diamond discs are standard fitment to tonka toys.
Loads of track days never warped my EBC discs, black diamonds fell apart going to the shops.IMHO |

Im still confused of what to go for,
i spoke to andy at camsport, He said that red stuff are fine, but they work better when warmed up. but i only work 10 mins away from from house. So he said to go for yellow stuff? as they work from the word GO. Bear in mind guys, I dont do any track days, and mainly use my car for shopping and getting to work. I would get oem brakes, but seem to have difficulty in finding them, even the loacl subaru dealership (who are crap anyway) are not sure if they have the pads in or not. P. shall i just go for yellow stuff? i only have standard none-grooved discs, i dont want to damge my discs. |

![]() My EBC pad disintegrated in a week with 'light' use and about 500 miles. I got replacement pads and the discs warped within a month and a half. |

John i know its a weired place you live but did you not know the metal bit of the pad does not go against the disc :?: :?: :?:
Next time just ask  Sorry but i still disagree, black diamond discs are like a chocolate fireguard. Ebc discs and ceramic pads did ok for track. |
