Unhappy failed MOT, fuel pipe leaking

My scooby just failed its MOT due to fuel pipe leaking, any ideas how much this is going to cost on a worst case scenario?

Funny thing is it passed the emission test which I thought it would definitely would of failed on as I've been thinking my turbo maybe on its way out.

Ive got it booked in to be checked over and repaired next week.

thanks in advance.

thanks, i hope it isn't that bad, there is no smell of petrol around the car. But knowing my luck it probably will be that bad.

Smile Re: failed MOT, fuel pipe leaking

Just got back from Revolution, they showed me the fuel leak and its tiny, its on the 2nd fuel pipe which has corroded. They are going to cut that part out and weld a new one in place for about 80 that includes parts and labor.

When I saw the fuel pipes I thought they were badly placed by design.
Its odd as most the fuel pipe runs through the inside of the car and then you have these two smaller pipes on the outside. Makes you wonder why Subaru didn't put the smaller pipes inside as well.
