Type R whats it worth.
Had the car for nearly 6 months now and its about time I looked for a replacement. So what do you think it is worth?
Impreza WRX STi 5 Type R WRC Limited. Faster than the P1 but it is low geared. I get 200-250 miles to the tank. The P1 gave 240-300. But then I have never been worried about the amount of fuel the cars used. My local Subaru dealer is servicing my Type R. The insurance for the P1 was £850. To my surprise the Type R is £500. Both car Insured with Tesco Full NCB. Standard STI WRX Type R Features:- Standard Equipment: STi Blue Printed Engine STi Group N Low Ratio Gearbox STi ECU STI Stainless Exhaust (Sodium Filled) - STi Inverted mono-tube strut suspension. I seem to be more willing to spend my money on the Type R than my old P1. ![]() |

Bob I can't believe you are considering selling the Type R
How much do you reckon you will be looking for it ? cos I would say with that sort of spec you are talking serious money - circa £15K ? If you should be within my sort of price range then I might just be interested but then so will Poxy and hundreds of others I expect 8) |

Pic of car before Intercooler, Wheels refurb and Stickers.
As Nelson has done the stickers are easily removed. Car has done 54000 miles. The car has to be remapped due to Intercooler and Induction Kit. Would think about 340 without pushing it. ![]() ![]() |

No rebuild on this one M8. It has ECUTEK / BRD 3 ECU Remap by Bob Rawle of Swindon . Mapped to run on UK fuel.
I've had a MY98 mapped by Power engineering. this car done 80,000 trouble free motoring. Sold to dealer A MY2000 Link by Bob Rawle. this car done 20,000 miles sold to dealer A P1 which did det without a remap So sold it early back to dealer. I have had Subaru's for 8 years now and never had any problems with the engines. |

If you want a sorted Scoob Type R then this is the one
A very very quick car Its the very rare WRC version too - if you refer to the Impreza Supplement with the last Jap Performance Mag - the Version 5 Type R WRC V Ltd was the Editors choice for any Scooby built to date (and this included the 22B/WR1 etc) |
