right folks, as per my 'wot's she worth' thread in discussion forum, thought i'd stick my beloved scooby up for sale; i won't bore you with my genuine reason for sale, as i've explained it already on the other post-suffice to say it's down to a smash in my previous car, back injuries and looming job loss ...i hope my many posts on here and openness will satisfy any queries or questions...

DEC '04 WRX, WRC blue, 47000 miles, FSH, only 1 previous owner from new; mint condition apart from a small stone chip in front of bonnet (trying to be as honest as poss); you guys prob know all the extras, eg CD, RCL, EW, Immobilizer, etc etc; she also came with a detachable towbar (don't ask me why!); she is not due mot 'til dec 08, but will need front tyres soon.
i bought her for my 40th b'day last feb from a dealer in liverpool, and she hasn't missed a beat since...
Mods- sensible and few, consisting of an induction kit, full s/steel exhaust system (c/w celfix from ASPerformance to knock CEL light off), 17" gold alloys and matching blue mats and flaps...i'm offering her as she is with mods first to see if there's interest, if not i'll take them off and sell her standard, but she has not been wrecked, raced, or rallied- i just wanted her to sound as a scooby should...the original exhaust and airbox are included in the sale...
Location-i'm in Ballymena, co Antrim, UK; this is N.E. of N.I., convenient to Belfast Int Airport and Belfast and Larne ferries-approx £80 for 1-way ticket across to Scotland with car; i would meet any buyer from the airport and bring them home to complete transaction (for ease of mind) if required...
Final Thing-i have a cherished plate on the car, and options are...
1-buyer waits to collect approx 3 weeks after sale 'til i get plate changed to whatever i buy to replace scooby
2-collect sooner but don't receive v5 until i get plate changed-obviously i will supply a writted receipt and statement of transfer, as well as the v5 new owner slip; apologies for the complications but can't be helped...

AMENDMENT- Seems i'm talking cr-p about the plate folks, the buyer will get the normal buyer-slip off the V5 as in any uk car sale; this acts as proof of ownership until they get the new complete V5 as normal sent out from DVLA; only difference is, they'll get a brand new registration with the new V5 ; of course new plates will have to be bought (apprx £10); sorry for the error

no joy on ebay or autotrader, so she's goin into local paper for 2 weeks then i'll keep her if no joy there, i'm not going to give her away for silly money...(i understand folks on the mainland being a bit nervous about buying from n.i., but thats life - i have bought my last 4 cars from the mainland and brought them back here on the ferry, with no probs);

plan b involves the wife selling her astra and her driving the cougar i had bought as a replacement for the scooby, so if thats what happens, well the scoob stays! but i must sell something as we now have 4 cars () in the house (counting the manta thats off the road ) and the wife is cracking up- says the place looks like a dealers forecourt...and me with the prospect of job-loss looming; ah its great craic...

hi guys,
my scoob is now for sale for only £8695 ono;
it is totally standard apart from gold alloys if desired or originals for £200 less;
the engine has never been modified, the s/s exhaust and ind kit have been removed; mileage is 50,700;
car is in excellent nick, has had recent pads fitted and has been off the road on SORN for a month; car has now been re-registered with a nice new n.i. plate, WKZ 2269, and is ready to go...
other details as above, feel free to ask anything; this is a genuine car with a genuine reason for a very reluctant sale...collection available to buyer from airport or ferry terminals...
