My Impreza Type R... (SOLD)
I've finally thought about it, and its time to go...
Re-mapped with the Simtek ECU and it made 343bhp with 300lb ft torque. Got loads of pics, loads of receipts and god knows what else.. I'm sad as hell to get rid of it, but enough is enough ![]() Car is perfect, new paint, re-mapped and it runs sweet as a nut. Will swap for a Golf GT TDI 150bhp 6 spd with a value of around £8000.. This will be a straight swap so no messing about at all. If your interested, please gimme a shout ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by Phill-type-R; 08 Jun 2007 at 05:09 PM. |

Phil buy a runabout something like ya mums 306 short of that find a bird who lives nearer
or use train/whatever-how far off would ya be from moving in with trudi anyway-i aint sure how long uve bin together but would definately explore all avenues before i sold it-so many ppl sell scoobys try something else and then come bk, would be a shame if in a couple of months time u realised how much ya missed it.(why u think i use the micra for running about in)scoobys as a main car to an extent aint that practical coz of the fuel costs. |

At the moment I'm having a few problems and these arent helped with the car, but its not ever broken down on me, its just always given me huge bills or I've taken it to places I shouldnt have which ripped me off, gave bad advice or did things I didnt need doing.. I really cant tell people enough to get some good solid advice for things that need doing or things you want doing from people that know what they are talking about!! Please dont be allowed to be suckered into things like I have with people!! ![]() Anyways, soap box over.. Dave I've been with Trudi for 18 months now (wouldnt honestly change a thing either!! Distance, yes, its a long trek, but I wouldnt want to drive the distance in anything else ) but the car averages over 30mpg if I just keep to the speed limits... which dont bother me because of the distance!! I love her to bits mate, so when I finally get college out the way (2 more stinking years) I'll be moving in with her ![]() Oh I use my Mum's 306 more than enough mate I dont want another one as well One is bad enough mate!! ![]() |

I do a nearly a 200 mile round trip to Barnstaple twice a week to see my missus and I have to say that in between my civic type r and wrx I drove a brand new 1.6 astra.
I have to tell you that the north devon link road is boring enough to drive but to do it in an average car will make you bored and you will hate the trip. It's worth the cost for the enjoyment |
